Clerical Assistant - Sales Office
FT Clerical Assistant needed at our Advance Planning Sales office to support the sales function of the organization. This role provides general administrative support to the Sales Management team and to field staff. Successful candidate will work cooperatively with management and sales staff; and provide assistance/support as needed to assist team in achieving sales outcomes and goals. A high level of professionalism and a positive/friendly attitude must be displayed at all times. Duties include conducting research, managing sales production reports, answering questions related to procedures, processing purchase agreements during peak business times, and assisting management with other tasks when needed.
Requires two years office experience; strong computer skills; good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Publisher; 45 wpm typing; ability to 10-key by touch; and advanced organizational and communication skills. Must be very detailed and accurate, and possess the ability to multi-task successfully with frequent interruptions. Requires the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Must become knowledgeable and proficient in the application of the company’s Standard Procedure, especially as it relates to cemetery property and preneed contract procedures. Knowledge of sales and commissions structures is beneficial. Strict dress and grooming required.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an occasional Saturday.
Full-time Funeral Director
Experienced Funeral Director needed at Greenwood & Mount Olivet Chapels. Rotating weekly and weekend schedule; does not include on-call work or removals. Valid Texas driver’s license; good driving record; professional appearance and good communication skills required. Must be licensed in Texas. Experience in a high-volume funeral home and cemetery structure preferred.
Experienced embalmer needed at Greenwood and Mount Olivet Chapels. Must be able to effectively handle high call volume and rotating schedule. On-call work or removals not required. Valid Texas driver’s license; good driving record; professional appearance and good communication skills required. Must be licensed in Texas.
Part-time Funeral Director Assistant
Assistants needed at Greenwood and Mount Olivet Chapels. Primary job duties include assisting with funeral services and driving family cars/limousines. May also work evening visitations or rosaries. Requires excellent communication skills; groomed and professional appearance; valid Texas driver’s license; and a good driving record. Knowledge of the DFW Metroplex will be helpful. Must be self-motivated and work effectively without direct supervision. Visitations and rosaries will require the ability to set up, connect and utilize audio/visual equipment. Hours vary according to the funeral and visitation schedules. Must be available to work Monday – Saturday.
Family Service Provider
Family Service Provider needed at Greenwood and Mount Olivet Chapels to provide ongoing assistance to those who have had a recent death, as well as those desiring to make their arrangements in advance. Position requires advanced organizational, communication and presentation skills; high level of professionalism; valid Texas driver’s license; and strict dress code. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently without supervision. Previous sales experience preferred. Must obtain Preneed Agent licensing within 90 days. Work schedule varies and includes weekends and evenings; must be flexible and willing to meet with families in-home or at the funeral home.
Full-time Cemetery Worker
Cemetery/Maintenance Workers needed at Greenwood Memorial Park and Mount Olivet Cemetery. Duties include a variety of cemetery tasks to include assisting with set-up, interments, memorialization and other tasks within the cemetery. Position requires good communication skills; a valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record; and a groomed appearance. Strict dress code enforced; must wear a company-provided uniform. Experience with heavy equipment preferred. Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and every other Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
